Sure Step And Project Managers

No matter what the size a project is, each and every project is managed using the Microsoft Sure Step approach, utilizing Microsoft Project, integrated with our own internal project tracking system.

Every project has a project manager assigned to it from our staff, and an internal project manager from your staff. Both work together in harmony to keep the project on time and on budget.

Project Implementation Plans

Every project is mapped out in Microsoft Project in phases, and every phase is comprised of the tasks and budgets needed to accomplish the results. As the implementation unfolds, and tasks are completed, you'll be able to see the project status and budget versus actual numbers for each task, phase and project as a whole. Project recap reports are supplied either bi-monthly or monthly, depending on your preference. At each critical point after the work has been approved, we'll seek your approval before continuing to the next tasks, thereby ensuring not only up to date status awareness, but also an understanding of potential overruns or savings on each task.

On Site Work

Whenever on-site work is performed, you'll be able to review and approve the work to keep you in the know. After each on-site appointment has been completed, you'll receive an on-site work log for your records as well as an after action report outlining what was accomplished, the duration, and any issues that arose. You and your designated project personnel will be kept in the loop every step of the way.

Tools Provided For Your Project

  • A comprehensive project plan in Microsoft Project or pdf for your records, updated bi-monthly or monthly, as well as a budget to actual review report
  • Weekly charges report showing time allocated on each task, phase and project
  • A project manager assigned specifically to your project and who will work with your internal project manager
  • Project binder that we provide to you to keep all pertinent and relevant paperwork for each project

Changes In Scope

Sometimes unforeseen issues and tasks arise on a project. Before we begin work on any new issues, you'll be able to review and approve a change of scope order and estimate. This helps you control costs and determine if an additional task is necessary and beneficial beforehand so that you won't be surprised at a later date.
