Company History

Cortekx HGL, Inc. was founded in January of 1995 in Camarillo, CA. The original founders of Clifford Hall, James Goode, and Dr. Horst Liebl, whose last names provide the basis of the HGL in our company name (Hall, Goode & Liebl), sought to begin a technology firm to provide high level business consulting in the distribution and manufacturing sector. After one year of limited success, both James Goode and Dr. Horst Liebl sold the company to Clifford Hall. Hence, Cortekx HGL, Inc. as it is known today began operations in January of 1996.

Cortekx became a partner of Solomon Software and Great Plains software companies shortly thereafter. A couple of years later Great Plains purchased Solomon and subsequently Microsoft purchased Great Plains to form Microsoft Business Solutions. Today Microsoft offers Dynamics SL (Solomon), Dynamics GP (Great Plains) as two of its four ERP product lines. Cortekx resells and supports both Dynamics GP and Dynamics SL along with Dynamics CRM. In addition, Cortekx resells and supports a variety of third party add-on packages to enhance the Dynamics experience.
